Cheytac
Ok, I've found many threads concerning specific scopes. What I would like to know is what is the preferred or most prevalent scope out there in Multigun? What scope are you using and why?
1chota
Ok, I've found many threads concerning specific scopes. What I would like to know is what is the preferred or most prevalent scope out there in Multigun? What scope are you using and why? Actually, i am using two different scopes. 1) a Swarovski Z6-1-6X with BRT reticle, 2) an IOR 1.5-8X with horseshoe tactical reticle. I like the Z6 for the true 1X and BRT reticle which i finally figgered out how to zero. It is much lighter than the IOR which i previously used as the #1 scope. The IOR is a really good scope but heavy. Once i figgered out where to zero it, it has performed well. (Notice i said "it" performed well.) Alaskapopo
Another vote for the Swarovski Z6i BRT. Other good scopes include the Vortex 1-4 HS, Trijicon TR24, Meopta, Burris Mtac, Lots of good choices out there. But the best of the best in my opinion is the Swarovski. djeffers
Burris 1-4 XTR as it was the best scope I could afford!
jimmcc
I'm about to buy the ZD Meopta. I like the Z6i (who doesn't ) but I can't justify the price for where I shoot. We may get to 300 yards in Ohio but that is rare. If I did buy a Z6i for around here I think I would buy the circle-dot reticle instead of the BRT because 90% of our shots are 100 yards and under. I am open to suggestion.
sdwilliams
I run Meoptka K-dots, 1x4. Have one on my AR, my 22 and about to put one on the Tikka T3 Lite I hunt with. Great scope, simple reticle and reasonably priced. I've used it from 25-500yds with no problem.
