Matt in TN
I just bought a new 550b and think I have it all set up correctly. I've really enjoyed reading through all the posts here about it and they've already set me straight on several items. One thing I can't figure though - there is a hold drilled through the loading arm (standard ball end, not roller arm) about halfway up. Is this for anything to link to, or is it just for you to put a rod through while tightening down?
Matt in TN
Should be "hole", not "hold" - stupid iPhone.

Sarge
The instructions I just got with my 650 said the hole was for exactly that. Putting something through it to help tightening.
Rugster
the instructions say to use a 5/32" allen wrench or screw driver through the hole in the handle to help your grip
