is/has anyone tried shooting wst over a 200 gr jacketed bullet.

my current load is 4.2gr of wst over a 185 precision moly bullet.

comes in around 168PF.

my buddy wanted to try some 200gr bullets and we started with 4.2gr of universal and it feels a little snappier than my current load. wanted to try the wst but havent found much load data for this.

Please list your OAL. That is super duper key information, and your info is kinda useless without it. I am sure it may help someone with a similar load :D

sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner. my oal is 1.170. i can go to 1.175, but that is it i start having cambering problems at 1.181. i am shooting an 2011 and my friend is shooting an m&p pro. he can load and shoot the 1.170 also.

i know what hodgon says, but hey there a bunch of guys that don't do what they are told to.

my buddy found some data that say 4.5 of wst is the max from handloads.com i am starting at 4.2 to see. it gave an fps but didn't look fast enough, that is why i turn to you guys.

more info.

mixed brass, cci spp, wst powder, at 1.170 with a crimp of .420
