Chills1994
Hi all, Yeah, Yeah, I know... again, another search for the Holy Grail. And while beggars aren't supposed to be choosers, I was really hoping that it would print out a graph like this one below: Yes, I have tried the online calculators by Winchester and Hornady. The Winchester one locks you into their ammo choice at their ASSumed at muzzle velocities. I was hoping I could find something that would: A. let me input muzzle velocity, B.C. and bullet weight in grains B. change zero distances and C. print out a graph like what's above, especially if I could compare two different calibers and/or bullet weights I really don't care so much about entering all the atmospheric data, just as long as it stays the same from one curve to the next. Again, thanks! P.S. and yeah for a Mac. If it happens to be online, and I can still print out a graph based on A and B above then that would get me close enough. Chills1994
I did a little more google'ing and found this: http://www.huntingnut.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=7161 sounds like I would need to run Parallels or BootCamp to get the PointBlank software to run. I'll keep looking.
Chills1994
I found this: http://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmtraj_simp-5.1. which lead me to this: http://ballistics.ntinnovations.com/ which unfortunately without Internet Explorer won't display a graph. Chris
You can cut and paste the output from JBM into a spreadsheet (Excel or Open Office) and create a chart.

RCNet
There is a free MacOS X native ballistic calculator available. It's the open source GNU External Ballistics Computer. http://sourceforge.net/projects/balcomp/ It's not been updated in a while, but seems to work pretty well. It has both PPC and Intel versions as well as binaries for other platforms. It might be worth taking a look.
fastarget
There was several under apps at the apple store including winchester's and swarovskis, downloaded 2 on my iphone, and ipad, should work well on your mac. 3 Were free, another 3 were 2 dollars or less for the downloads with your itune account.
