moverton
Does anyone have a recommendation on a book for nutrition. I need to try something else, what I am doing isn't working. Thank You. Edited November 6, 2011 by moverton
dravz
Not going to start a debate but I am a huge fan of Gary Taubes' book, Good Calories, Bad Calories. There is not enough science in nutrition these days, surprisingly. Edited November 8, 2011 by dravz
sirveyr
As you know, expend more calories than you eat. This book will help with all of the amounts. The Complete Book of Food Counts

feederic
Does anyone have a recommendation on a book for nutrition. I need to try something else, what I am doing isn't working. Thank You. What are you trying to do? I have quite a collection of nutrition books. Most can be summarized as follows: 1) Buy and eat natural or unprocessed food. 2) Drink lots of water. 3) Don't eat fried foods. 4) Limit corn fed beef consumption. 5) Learn to indulge in moderation. Corey
I am a big fan of The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf. +1 I have read this book and tried the Paleo concept after some encouragement from my local corssfit gym. It plain works!
spanky
I have Robbs book but haven't read it (shamefully) but I can attest to the paleo system plain working.
Kasteel
If you like the paleo approach, anything by Loren Cordain is good. He is the "father" of the paleo diet. Dr. Mercola's website has an weath of information--almost overwhelming really. Mark's Daily Apple is a good email newsletter to subscribe to.
