Mr.Kirk
Picked up a used 625-8 and I naturally want to tear it apart and loose some little pieces. What's a good book to pick up? I saw an ad for J.B. Wood's book. Is there a better source of information? Also, who's a good source for a front pinned sight that isn't pre-drilled? This thing has a seesaw on the front of it. Carmoney
Jerry's trigger job DVD is a pretty decent resource. SDM, EGW and Protocall Design (forum dealer) make front sights, but before ordering another sight you might want to reinstall the loose one with red loctite. Toolguy
Jerry Kunhausen has some pretty good books on handguns.

He also makes a point of showing you what not to alter. Worth the "price of admission". Chuck

Norther
For a front sight, go with Protocall. The others are too wide, Protocall's the only one to make a .100" wide fiber optic. Also, he's great to deal with, I ordered one from him that got lost in the mail and he sent another right away.
