e-mishka
is stock 2 a good choice to use in production and limited? i like my match a lot, but only can use it limited, want to participate in production as well.
Skydiver
A stock 2 will work for both Production and Limited, but then you'll have to get one in .40 unless you want to also shoot minor when shooting in Limited. You'll probably also want to get another set of grips and slip on magwell while shooting Limited, and then remove it again when shooting Production. e-mishka
i'm gonna stay with 9mm, so minor pf in limited/L10 is ok with me. Not too worried about magwell, i think i can get by without it. how is the trigger pull on stock 2?
Skydiver
I have no idea what the Stock 2 trigger feels out of the box. I've only tried the trigger on Tanfogliofan's Stock 2, and it was infinitely better than any CZ Custom shop that I ever tried. Of course, Tanfogliofan spent several hours doing a trigger job. (He offers trigger jobs for Stock 2's as a service, BTW.)
JB38Super
The stock DA pull is harsh to say the least. But, they can be tuned easily to give 6 to 8 lb DA pull and sub 2 SA. Also, you might want to look at Limited Pro version. Slightly longer sight radius and barrel, basically same feel.

Mo Hepworth
Only get the small frame 9mm,...you could try to import one from Canada's Tanfoglio importer. Frank Garcia from from the Universal Shooting Academy (I think) is using a small frame 9mm Stock2. Skydiver
With a small frame you don't have to worry about the reliability of the 9mm feeding. Although, with the new K9 mags paired with the large frame, the gun is now reliable.
e-mishka
i have k9 mags with my match, and no issues at all.
Mo Hepworth
i have k9 mags with my match, and no issues at all. I think my first stock2 purchased in the summer of 2007 (small frame), has approx 45,000rds + thru it,...perhaps double or triple in dryfire.. The small frame mags and fit is similiar to a CZ shadow. They are very reliable. Edited September 27, 2011 by Mo Hepworth
pivoproseem
That Stock II was a pretty good buy!
mindcrime
I've handled a stock II with a proper race trigger and it was really nice! Right at 5 lbs for double action and 2 for single. With the weight and trigger it should really rock!
