chirpy
Don't even know where/how to search for an answer to my particular question and can't find it on their web site, so here goes. Has any purchased or taken a good look at the M&P kit that includes extra mag(s), mag pouch, holster and etc? If so, what is you opinion of the holster and mag pouch? I thought I remember hearing that it was either Blackhawk or Bladetech. TIA Richard

chirpy
I'm not sure what they call it as I mentioned in my OP. Just wonder if anyone has seen it and what the quality of the holster and mag pouch is. I know the quality of the holsters and mag pouches that do not come in the kit but not those in the kit!. FWIW, I might be able to get the kit cheaper than the gun alone! Richard Edited August 31, 2011 by chirpy
centermass
I purchased my M&P40 May of 2009... came with Bladetech kydex holster (w/ S&W logo), BT kydex double mag pouch, and 2 extra mags (3 total). And, also got 2 free mags from S&W as part of the purchase promotion. So if that's the same "kit" to which you are referring, I'd say the quality is top notch. chirpy
Thanks, that is the info I was looking for. Richard
Jonathan Taliani
If I'm not mistaken, the Bladetech gear included in the M&P kit is injection molded, not kydex. While it is not bad gear, I personally very much prefer their kydex variants.
chirpy
Thanks, jt. I agree with you but you get what you pay for and it is a very good price. Richard
