kalebg
Is it possible to convert a PO-1 from a decocker to a standard safety?

CeeZer
AFAIK, the holes in frame for decocker levers are not in the same place where manual safeties' holes are, so you gotta get new holes drilled and so on.
eerw
Actually holes are in the right spot. what you end up with: hole in frame for decocker is different shape. while safety will fit hole, part of hole will be exposed. no way to fit retaining plate and spring. so only retained by sear spring. sear pin on decocker model fits into frame..so this will be exposed. not a big deal if want to match safety model parts, parts that you will need to change include: sear, hammer, disconnector, trigger bar. eerw
Stu, Thanks for correcting silly me no worries..most people don't have the opportunity to try and see..and most folks will get the answer that it is not possible. cuz really its not intended to be that way. it is not optimal and I would not recommend it. but you can make parts fit and get it to work..if you HAVE to
