kwesi
I called EAA to verify the weight of the recoil spring shipped in the Limited and the 2 spare springs. Here they are: Installed spring is 14.5# 5.59 KG = 12.3# 5.09 KG = 11.2#
shooterbenedetto
Go to Henning Wallgreen's website and I would put on his 10.75lbs recoil spring. Its perfect for 10mm and .40cal
Nealio
Go to Henning Wallgreen's website and I would put on his 10.75lbs recoil spring. Its perfect for 10mm and .40cal LOL he isn't shooting soft competition loads, but full house 10mm loads. I run a 20# in my 10mm and its not stiff enough. kwesi
I had to load up some softer rounds because my Sprinco recoil rod did not ship with the metal bushing and Alan does not want me to use it with the plastic bushing that came in my Limited. Then the 20# Wolf recoil spring that I picked up from Henning binds on the factory recoil rod. So I will be running the factory shipped spring tonight with loads that should be 1000 - 1050 fps. Looking forward to tonight's range visit. Really curious where the brass is going to end up.
Nealio
Plastic bushing?
kwesi
Plastic bushing? It's black and very light weight. I didn't put a magnet to it but it seemed like plastic. The bushing inside the dust cover that retains the recoil spring.

kwesi
I think its aluminum I'm so accustomed to my polymer pistols that I didn't even consider it being aluminum. Thanks!
kwesi
I think its aluminum Upon closer inspection you are right! I looked inside and can see the aluminum where the tip of the recoil rod wore against it.
