mioduz Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I just am starting in on uspsa shooting. Purchased an open gun a few weeks ago. Shot my first uspsa match with a load I found here and had a lot of fun. But I loaded that to major using IMR 7625. Now I have a steel match comming up on sunday and need to work up a quick load for steel. So I guess i want to be as close to 120PF as I can with as much gas as i can to operate the comp? Is that correct? I would prefer a cleaner burning powder, but low kick and accuracy are the biggest factors right now Please point me in a direction to get started. I do not have access to any vihti vouri powder so all the N105 recipies that I am reading will not work. I do have 125gr Zero bullets. Thanks
RH45 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 You won't be getting enough gas to work the comp with a minor load. That said, my 3-gun load, when I used my .38 Supercomp was 4 grains of straight Clays behind a Zero 125 grain bullet.
