I assume the two piece allows one to: 1] remove the C-more for gun disassembly if one has a left side racker and 2] purchase a separate mounting bracket for a backup C-More. Have you tried and does it return the same zero? yes that's the point for it to be able to zero a back up and take it off and put it back on later with an almost perfect zero.
