meangreen75
Does anyone know how you can get a certain weight of pull? I just ordered the kit and I'll be shooting my gun in a competition that requires minimum pull at 3.5 lbs. Any ideas?
markn
You need the duty AEK not the competition AEK. The competition kit takes it sub three. Hope that helps, Markn
GSWEAR
I have played with a couple M&P's and Apex parts and they were pretty consistent as far as results. With the Apex sear and and rounding and polishing the stock firing pin block and using all stock springs they were 3 3/4 lbs and with the complete Apex comp kit they were 2 3/4 lbs. Good luck and YMMV!

meangreen75
Thanks for the feedback. I'll take you advice on the stock gear then drop in the rest of the kit after the competition. I'm only going to shoot that match once a year anyways. meanie
Flork
If you install just the Hard Sear and USB you'll get a dead smooth pull with a crisp break at right around 4lbs. Scott
T_Linville
i polished the apex sear and put in the USB and my trigger breaks at just over 4lbs. I have the comp trigger spring but i think that 4lbs is good for me right now till i get a few matches under my belt
want2race
The USB is nearly mandatory to clean up the trigger pull. Swap for the USB spring that comes in the kit too. Swap the sear, but leave all other springs stock.
