Zebp45
I had a grip reduction done and a beavertail added to my G19 frame. I want to know if I can take the top end of my G23 and put it on the modified G19 frame without beating it up. Any help/advise is ppreciated, Zebp45
Glockster35
I am far from a specialist, but as long as you have the three pin lower receiver on the 19, you should be just fine.
EkuJustice
If it is the 3pin frame you are good to go since they use the same frame. Just make sure to switch the ejector/housing assembly out to the 40 cal when you switch it over
CiDirkona
You might have to change the ejector, but plenty people have reported using the wrong ejector angle and it working just fine. Did 19s ever even come two pin? Early Gen 2s?
Harmon
you need an ejector but other than that you are good to go. there is no worries with beating the gun up. they are the same frame as the 23..
Nik Habicht
Did 19s ever even come two pin? Early Gen 2s? Gen 2s definitely, possibly even into Gen 3, if they mirrored the 17/34 frames, which were two pin into Gen 3....
Shawn Knight
I had a Gen 3 G23 and was able to use a Gen 3 G19 top end on it. No problems at all.
EkuJustice
The only thing I dont like is the ejector angle on the 9mm angles in where the 40 is more straight out. It looks like the 9mm ejector on a 40 comes closer to the Primer than it should. Its like a 7 buck part

There have been instances of igniting primers ejecting live rounds (check out the thread on the 'catch the last round' concept.) Use caution and minimal slide velocity when ejecting a live round.
