OK fellas! i finished my open 34 build today.

glock 24 frame stippled by yours truly

34 lone wolf slide

lone wolf bbl

carver 3 port comp

zev tugnston guiderod

zev fulcrum trigger (with some mat price tuning )

wolf striker spring

ismi 11lb recoil spring

c-more slide ride

7.0 grains of hs-6 loaded to 1.150 behind @ pd 124 FMj or JHP is a SWEEEEET plate/steel load

I have not pushed it yet to major prolly never will maybe just to play once or so.

I am SUPER happy with the carver mount and comp.

Which magwell are you running on that? Can you fit mags with floorplates or do you need basepads?

It's a Dawson ice. Yeah I can run either.

I found I do need to pump my load up a bit. When it's dirty it still double feeds and stove pipes. Teach me try to run a measly 7 grains of hs-6 and a 3 port comp lol!!

That looks good.

Somewhere over 8 grains of HS6 will take you to Major. Often an open gun is easier & cleaner to shoot at 171PF than at 165.

As you say there are better choices than HS6 for making minor steel loads. Many threads in the Reloading section but you will get nice clean burns at low velocities using N320 or N330 powders.

Look at THIS when you're using a slide spring below 15 lbs & have fun.
