Pro2AInPA
When dry fire practicing draw to first shot, etc, I cock the hammer by hand between runs rather than racking the slide. Is this a safe practice as far as wear on parts, or is it better to rack the slide each time? Edited February 5, 2011 by Pro2AInPA
ParaGunner
I do it all the time, the hammer can't possibly know the difference.
CocoBolo
I sure hope so, I've been doing it for years, have not had any hammer, trigger, or firing pin issues.
