TMC
My bullet feeder has about 50K through it and its worked great up until a few minutes ago. I had loaded about 300 rounds when it stopped dropping bullets on the cases. I had to adjust it down about 3/4 of a turn to get it working again and it worked for about 75 rounds and stopped again. I took it out of the press, looked it over (it looked fine) and reinstalled it and adjusted it. It seems to be ok now but talk about wierd, working fine for years without adjustment and then it just stops and need a full turn to work again. Has this happened to anyone else? AWLAZS
Check and make sure there is not a space between the plastic base and the metal die when the ram is down. Every now and then I run a super through my nine and it pops that out of place.
TMC
Thanks, I'll check that. I did run a super through it but caught it before the crimp station. That might be what caused the problem. Does this look right?
RePete
Another thing to do is make sure that the bullet dropper is clean. Also, look at the tapered wedge inside the dropper for damage.
AWLAZS
Thanks, I'll check that. I did run a super through it but caught it before the crimp station. That might be what caused the problem. Does this look right? Nope, it looks like it is stuck up a little loosen the little set screw and push it down so the wider part touches the metal base.
