buckaroo45
Anybody know what parts, besides the cylinder and hand, are interchangable between a 625 and a 627? __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "Changing over to shooting revolver is the natural evolution of things, like learning to walk upright." Toolguy
Everything except the cylinder. The threaded hole for the barrel is .030 higher on a 627 than on any other N frame so you can't use the 627 frame to make something else and you can't use a 625 or 629 etc. frame to make a 627. The barrel and cylinder would be way out of alignment vertically. The hand for the 8 shot is a little different than the hand for a 6 shot. snertley
So would it be possible to convert a 629 to a 625?
Toolguy
Yep - That's just a barrel and cylinder swap.
