Pro2AInPA
I'm well aware that the words open and budget don't go together when it comes to competitive shooting. But, humor me. What's a decent, fairly affordable open shotgun setup?

JMIS
I just ordered this the other day for my SLP. Picked it up for the 10rd matches. http://www.powerfactorshooting.com/briley_magazine_extension_with_coupler_package_dea_p/8rd-9rd-mag-extension.htm Might help the budget. They don't make a speedloader bracket for the SLP, and I don't have the skills to modify one. I'll keep my SLP for tactical.
Pro2AInPA
Saiga 12? It's my understanding that a box stock Saiga is nowhere near ready for 3 gun . . .
JaeOne3345
I thought you meant a base to start from. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I see now you mean the package as a whole ready to go.
CocoBolo
I'd watch the classifieds. I've seen a number of Remington 1100 go for $750 and they were rigged out nice with speed loader tubes etc. I have the SLP, great gun. Shot a friends Saiga, no thanks. TruePunisher
What is your budget? $100? $500? $1000? If you don't want a Saiga and you don't want to retrofit an SLP then look for a used 1100 and add a speed loader and a Fastfire.
DyNo!
Saiga 12? It's my understanding that a box stock Saiga is nowhere near ready for 3 gun . . . That is correct - once you put a $100 magazine well on it, a mount, a $80 primary arms red dot sight, and a $80 poly-choke, it is ready for 3-gun. caz41
You could get into a Saiga for roughly $1k give or take how basic you wanted to go with it and how many mag's you felt you needed. The good thing about Saiga's is you have some give with upgrading it in stages. It all depends on what you consider a "budget".
Pro2AInPA
I'm pretty sure I just found what I'm looking for in the classifieds. Nice timing.
