joedodge
hello all i just got a xd9 tactical a couple months ago it has a dawson precision adjustable rear sight. my question is how sensitive are they to being bumped when racking the slide or being put in my range bag i see its spring loaded but was curious on the sensitivity im kinda gentle with it now. Jim Rusert
Racking the slide or putting the gun in your range bag in no way compares to the forces endured by that sight when the slide operates under fire. I would expect the sight to maintain zero indefinetely and although I would check the zero a couple times each season to be sure, I wouldn't expect zero likely to change unless the gun were dropped or hit by a prop, etc. and even then, I would be surprised. Kyle O
Not sensitive at all. Very robust.
wurm
The Dawson adjustable on my Glock 35 has been used and abused for the last year and a half and hasn't needed any adjustments. I've thunked it a few times too and no problems.
