J-Rob
Just a heads up for those looking for RDS Optics, Midwayusa has a closeout sale on the Aimpoint Micro R-1 red dot sight. These are indentical to the T-1's and H-1's except for the finish. Aimpoint is discontinuing the R-1 sight due to lack of sales. Optic with factory mount only. Linky They are identical to the H1 except color. The T1 is night vision compatible and is more water proof. But They are still great sights I purchased 2. pat

Graham Smith
I wonder if you can put one on a Larue mount? Found what I was looking for. The paint on the R-1 is a different type than the H-1 (more than just the color) but otherwise they are pretty much the same thing. FWIW, the market for the R-1 was intended to mainly be pistols.
