.223 bullets

I have been preparing to start reloading for .223. I have been trying to do some research on buying bullets. Trying to find the best compromise of quality and cost effectiveness. So far I have looked into MG and Widener's. Any other good options out there. Also supporting someone who supports us is important.

Edit that these would be 55gr used for 3 gun and training.

Hornaday 55 Gr BT HP with cannelure bought in bulk packs are an excellant blend of accuracy and cost.

Out of my Sabre 18 inch middy, they will hold around 1/2 inch to 7/8 inch at 100 yards with a good scope.

I use the Hornady 55gr. FMJBT. They have the same accuracy in my rifle as the 55gr. Sierra Match King FMJ with 25.3gr. of H-335. Also alot

cheaper.

Montana Golds work fine. MidwayUSA and Cabela's both support our sport and they carry a lot of brands who do as well. Sierra and Hornady being some of the more noteable ones.

Who has the best prices on the Hornady and Sierra's?
