concealment for IDPA Divisions?

Firearm and holster only John. I know you WANT to wear concealment!

From the rulebook:

-Due to the unique needs and nature of the Steel Challenge, drawing from concealed

carry is not allowed.

That makes perfect sense as the IDPA classifier doesn't require a concealment garment. In IDPA matches concealment garments are required when it makes sense in the CoF scenario. If you start "in bed" for example you wouldn't be wearing concealment.

Not a stupid question at all...but no, the division is only for the type of firearm you are using - I don't believe the intent was to follow all the rules of that particular division in regards to that discipline.

I really wish they would have just kept the USPSA divisions there so it's a little less complicated for the IPSC shooters since it is a USPSA owned entity.
