hal1955
I would like to shoot 9mm major in my glock 34. I am considering cutting and threading a 17L barrel. Has anyone tried a Glock barrel in 9mm major ? Or perhaps I'd be better off with a KKM or a LWD barrel.
Jman
The threaded LWD barrel and Jager comp have worked great for me. Unaware of anyone using a OEM barrel / chamber with Major 9. Not a good idea. Jim

Whitefish
I have KKM gunsmith fit barrels in both of my G17 open guns and highly recommend going with gunsmith fit barrels no matter the maker. That said, I have several other Glocks with KKM, Jarvis, and BarSto barrels. All are high quality barrels and give excellent accuracy, with BarSto (perhaps) very marginally better, but the fit is probably the most important factor in repeatability and overall accuracy. Jarvis uses 4150 gun barrel steel while both KKM and BarSto use 416 stainless steel. You may have a long wait for delivery of Jarvis and BarSto barrels, which is why I went with KKM in the open guns.
