Shadowrider
Picked up a 625 a short time back. It had a "hitch" at the start of the trigger stroke so I opened it up. I think the hitch is just the cylinder stop, it seems to have a pretty stout spring in it. But I found the rebound slide has a really weird grind to it. Anybody seen one done like this? Also it had about 4 full coils chopped off of the rebound slide spring. Sure is easy to install though. Do I need a new one?

Shadowrider
Looks like a total abortion to me! LOL! That was my EXACT thought when I saw it. The damage seems to be confined to the rebound slide and the hammer. I'm going to replace the rebound slide and see how it does. I got a smoking deal on it so I'm not really hurt on it. I might run it for a couple of months and then send it to you and let you have your way with it. Hammer pic attached.

jjanglin
: I see this kinda (Y&^$%$ often, most of the time its costly to the owner to correct! I encourage folks to work on their own guns but I wish they would call and ask questions, before they mess up their guns. Their isnt a dumb question.
