buzzard2172 Posted September 12, 2010 Share Posted September 12, 2010 Hey there, everyone. I am new to this board (as a poster) and pretty new to competition. I have shot one USPSA match so far and done a great deal of practice since. I did a lot of reading here prior to that match and have read a lot more since. This is definitely the place to be in terms of action pistol discussion. I want to thank Brian and all the regulars here for providing such great content to browse through. I am a member at the Pitt County Wildlife Club in Greenville, NC. I shot my first match there a roughly month ago and I imagine there are some folks on this board that I met in person. Being a member there provides me a place to practice where I can setup stages and work on competition specific shooting. I hope to get out there at least once a week and run around with a gun in my hands. I'm happy to be able to join the discussions here and hope to contribute something useful! Thanks! It is easier to set up stages etc with some extra hands. Plus good natured competition will make the practice more productive as well in most cases. Good luck and have fun! Yep, my pal is a B class shooter and is the one who dragged me into this. I was lucky to shadow him at my first match and it made things much easier.
