GrumpyOne
Cordy, you got the CZ75 SP-01 shadow custom, right? What's the difference between it and the Custom target?
burningsquirrels
http://czcustom.com/CZ75_SP01_SHADOW_CustomShop.aspx http://czcustom.com/shadowtarget.aspx looks like the real diff are the grips and sights.

Well, they both have FO sites, so the only real difference i can see is the AL grips vs the Coco Bolo grips. I find it hard to believe that the AL grips are $10 more than the Coco grips. justaute
Exactly. In addition, the adjustable TRT sight requires some drilling/milling of the slide. Other differences -- probably no cost delta -- include: - different spring weight (Shadow Custom has lighter ones) - front sight optic width (SC is narrower) one has a competition rear, the other has an adjustable TRT
GrumpyOne
But other than that, essentially the same? I wonder why the different sites on them....
justaute
I believe so. Not sure about why using the different front sights. If you are going to order one, I think Rob at czcustom will do a "hybrid" custom/target Shadow for the nominal price difference. I should have done it in that I'd prefer the thinner front sight and the aluminum grips. The springs are an easy swap. The Kensight adjustable rear sight is nice, which is the reason I got the Shadow Target. Also, I think the Shadow Target may weigh a bit less in that as a result of the slide-milling for the rear sight, obviously some slide materials have been removed. But other than that, essentially the same? I wonder why the different sites on them....
