WOW! What a fight!

Sonnen opened a 40 oz can of whoop ass on Silva. If he had fought it strategically and played it safe in round five he would have been champion. But oh well!

Don't really think you can totally spoil a UFC bout even IF you know the outcome. It's how it happened that gets it. I'm still gonna watch it when I get a chance. Thanks though.

Hard to believe that Silva was able to take all of that punishment for 23 minutes and still have enough left to submit Sonnen at the end. Also remarkable that Silva's face showed little evidence of the beating he took while Sonnen's face didn't fare so well. Silva admitted after the fight he had been advised not to fight because of a rib injury. Whether this would have significantly changed the fight is anybody's guess. Guess we can now look forward to the rematch and see if Silva changes his strategy.

An opponent for Lesnar: Remember Bill Goldberg of the WWF-seems like he would be an natural in the UFC

I haven't seen it yet, but glad to hear it was a good fight. After the Maia debacle / ballroom dancing event, I skipped this one. Will check it out.

I only caught the first fight (was on at the restaurant). I was surprised that Roy "Big Country" Nelson did as well as he did. I haven't seen him since the Ultimate Fighter show. I was impressed.
