Which Millet Rear Sight

NCShooter

Recommended Posts

I've located a couple Millet rear sights for S&W revolvers and want to put one on my S&W 4" 610.

But, I can't figure out which height rear sight I need. I'm running a SDM 0.125" wide and 0.250" tall front sight. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks :)

I was already planning on putting what I don't use up for sale here

But, I was hoping to find the right combo without having to put on several different rear sights. I know somebody here probably knows which rear is most likely to work.

Buy both, sell the one you don't use/need here !

BUT !! if you shoot the revo with light and heavy loads you may need different heights ?

btw, sell it in the proper BE section

On my 5" 625 it needs a .360 Rear & a .300 Front. Tried a .250 Front and it shot just a bit too high still, when bottomed out.

On my 4: M29 I use the .360 Rear & a .300 Front also, but I seem to remember the .250 Front was usable.

Problem is the .312 Rear Millet, or whichever the shortest one is, sacrifices notch depth to shorten the overall sight.

The tallest Millet, the .410 uses the same notch depth and has a taller body.

The .360 is the one to get and if needed put a taller Front Sight on.

I agree with Dave.

Thanks guys. I'll post the "extras" in the classifieds as soon as I figure out exactly what all I have.
