Too_Slow
Hi all. Just giving you the standard monthly announcement for our match. I don't really have anything else for you about the stages yet but I should in the next couple of days. Brian
ROY NEAL
Brian is just being modest...........7 field courses with 1 classifier. Typical round count somwhere around 170-190 rounds. Lots of steel (mini and full size poppers), a texas star on a stage, add a few swingers, 2 clamshells and a drop turner or two and you have our typical match. Some stages are foward movement, some might require backing up, some might just be plain hose fests..........but beware of the mini ipsc targets. They have made their way into our bag of goody's and will make thier debut this weekend to help simulate some longer range targets. Sign up starts about 8:30-8:45 and goes to about 9:30. First shot is 10am sharp. With the Indiana sectional going on this weekend, we understand that some of the usual characters might be missing but if your available give our match a try. It's hard to beat 7 level III field courses plus a classifier for $25. Plus we are normally done and put away by 2:30pm so you have the rest of the day to do something else. If you have questions, let us know. Hope to see you on Sunday. Regards, Roy
Too_Slow
Well Roy is a little bit off on round count for this match (158 rounds) but other than that he is pretty close on every thing. We have chosen CM-09-02 Diamond Cutter for this months classifier. Hopefully we will see you there. Brian
ST43130
Wow sounds like a weekend shooting fest. I'm shooting the Indiana Section on Friday and planning to be there Sunday!
Too_Slow
Glad to have you come by. As I understand it we may have a few other people that are shooting that match on Saturday stopping by on their way home as well. Brian
wurm
I'm hoping to make it to this match. I've never shot USPSA at Raccoon Hunters (or many other places, yet) though I've made it to a fair number of IDPA matches there. You guys have a secret brianenos.com handshake I should be on the lookout for?
woof
Thanks to all that came! Stats are up on the USPSA web site. woof
ST43130
Thanks guys, great match. I'm going to have to make sure to have a reason to be in the area at least a couple of times a year just to keep up to date on my sense of humor.
ROY NEAL
WURM, Yes we do have a secret handshake and since this is a public forum, we cannot disclose that information at this time. Please Contact G-Man Bart on this forum and have him send you the non disclosure forms for you to sign, date, and have notorized for ours and the FBI's review. Please include a DNA sample, recent blood test results and a note from your Mother (or any other responsible Family Member that will claim you) stating that she thinks it's ok for you to be playing outside with sharp objects (we won't tell her about the guns....that might scare her). Once we have recieved these documents, the IPSC commission at our club will meet at an establishment that sponsors us for adult beverages, lap dances from our favorite female dancers and a game of rock, scissors, paper to see if we will allow you "know the secret". In order for the commision to have this meeting, there is a small one time only processing fee (that's right folks, you only pay for processing!!) that you will have to include with all your information. The Standard fee is $1000 in order to take care of the processing (gas to pick up everyone on the commision, valet, bouncer tip for table, bar tab, dinner bill and at least a couple of dances per commissioner plus tip to the waitress and the shot girl). I will tell you that everyone who has gone that route has never been denied. It really does go a long way to helping you get involved in the club. Or you could just come out on Thursday nights to our practice sessions. They're free and pretty relaxed. We might set up a stage or something like it from an upcoming match or maybe a stage that gave someone a really hard time and they want try it again. Get there about 5:30pm and jump in helping set it up. Then prepare for some typical shooting fun. That's it. No big deal. However, if you did really want to go about impressing us, the first option is allways open for you. Just saying..............
woof
Roy please remember, that was last year’s fee. This year’s fee is 1200... You know how tuition has increased and all the girls are going to college.... woof
