I have had my MarK 7 pro case & bullet feeders running along with a PW running my case pro and 3 shop lights all on a 15 amp circuit.
-
I believe the pro over the x is worth it. The increase in speed was the justification for me. The bigger tablet is nice bit not critical. I can't speak for the stage sense as I don't have that sensor.

I order components every month through out the year to keep pace to a 30K average. Then during the less than mild Michigan winter I load them so I can play all summer with out having to load every week or so. I have recently purchased a MK 7 so my loading sessions are more productive and less stressful on my arm. woof

I highly recommend the spare parts kit for your 1050. +1 on the FA vibra prime. woof

Combine the mouse fart 9mm load and the front sight on the barrel my 9mm limited gun is just plain fun to shoot. According to some that have shot it..... it is wrong on so many levels..... woof

1050 musings... easier on shoulder/joints?
woof replied to 78Staff's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I used a 550 (started as a 450) for years. Then I got a 1050. Big difference but my shoulder and elbow also have deteriorated and now I have a Mark 7 that runs the 1050. it also seems to load more consistently. I still use the 550 for small runs of cartridges I don't shoot offten. woof -
Will carry optics be permanent division?
woof replied to jeremy kemlo's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
At last Sunday's 8/28/16 we had as many CO as we did L10. There were 8 in each which was 2 more than SS. 8 doesn't sound like much until yo realize that is 10% of the participants. Also we were missing a couple of the regular CO shooters. I have the old fart eye problem and have found I enjoy shooting CO more than Prod. So I for one am hoping CO will be a permanent devision. woof -
Mark 7 Dillon 1050 users...experience with bearing kit?
woof replied to Quirk's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I have a Redding expander die in the swage station and FFB shell plate and I have had 6 tipped bullets in the last 12K rounds. woof -
I am of a different mind set..... I have all the gear & toys to play in all of the divisions. It doesn't bother me to dig through the safe and dust something off that I have not shot in a while. Nor does it bother me to do a caliber change on the 1050 and crank out enough ammo. This is what I do for fun. woof

I have loaded on SDB, 550 and now I have a Mark 7 equiped 1050 which has saved my shoulder (sucks getting old). Do not regret your 1050 purchase. The one problem (if you can call it that) is you will be able to load more. Which will cost you more in components. Pick up a FA vibra prime or the Dillon and a dozen primer tubes. Spend a few minutes loading the tubes and an hour loading then the rest of the evening with the family. woof

I don't know if it would be adaptable to your needs but the Mark 7 has a decapped primer sensor. woof

Just discovered 147 gr in my 9mm 1911..now I want to play
woof replied to JMPhotog's topic in 9mm/38 Caliber
I use Precision Delta 147 round nose over 3.3 gr Titegroup with an OAL of 1.135. woof -
Ericjhuber, You have no idea of how terrible an influence Roy can be..... he is also a facilitator.... Every time I have to dig through the safe I can blame Roy for at least half the guns I have to move..... Mind you.... it is not a bad thing...... Roy was instrumental in my getting a beautiful SV limited gun. I am no longer troubled with trying to decide between an SV or anything else.... it will be SV every time. woof

If I had it to do over again I would pony up the money for a 1050 with a case & bullet feeder. My SDBs are dismounted and collect dust most of the year while my 550 waits for mr to burn through all the 308 & 30-06 I loaded last winter. Now my 1050 doesn't have any dustand has been a work horse. woof

My S&W CORE sports a Docter which has performed outstandingly since I installed it late last year. woof

a matt, Come on out... we'll have a few laughs.... besides you'll need a break from the hot steamy weather in south Georga... seriuosly though a certain someone who shall remain nameless but his initials are Roy Neal has some very twisted ideas for stages this year..... I really can't believe I agreed to some of them before I realized I will have to shoot those same stages too..... woof

1050 PW Power Drive - your best $14 improvement ever!
woof replied to Foxbat's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
Foxbat, What other modifications are you doing to the PW auto drive? woof -
Smartsquared, You ROCK! Good choice on a gift. You have decided against the powder chech system which leaves that station open for a bullet feeder which will at least double the loaded ammunition production. Keep that one in your back pocket come Christmas time as it is a little expensive. If you change your mind and get the strong mount PM me your address as I have a bullet try collecting dust and I am sure you can provide it a good home. woof

What is the fastest way to deprime pistol brass before cleaning
woof replied to ShortBus's topic in General Reloading
I switch out the tool head for one with a Lee universal decapping die and run them through my PW equiped 1050. In a couple of hours all the brass is deprimmed and wet tumbled waiting to be loaded. woof -
Any reputable gunsmiths for accu-rails or slide tightening.
woof replied to Keola5o4's topic in Open Pistols
I have a couple of railed limited guns. One was built by Doug from the frame up and one that was converted from an old 38 super steel gun to a 9mm limited gun. Both are as tight today as the day I got them. woof -
I like stages with multiple solutions. Shooting on the move, challenging shots, speed up, slow down and I prefer hard cover to no shoots. When designing stages those are things I keep in mind. woof
