TruStreet
I read the Warnings about FC brass & case head seperation (major 9), but what about the nickel FC brass? Would it be safe to use these? TIA Manny Edited July 15, 2010 by TruStreet
yoshidaex
I've used brass and nickel FC cases with no issues for my 9 major open guns. If you practice standard precautions (number of loadings, case inspection, etc, etc) you should be good to go. I won't use FC brass or nickel in 40 major using fast powders (Clays). Experienced too many case head separation to risk using as match ammo
wide45
FC brass, including nickel, is no good in .40. It's fine, in 9.
Fireant
I have used it in both 9 major and 40 major with no problems at all.
