The sound volume on DIRECTV

Been known to watch History Channel or Military Channel at beddy-bye time. Volume down so it doesn't bother the girl that sleeps with me.

a year ago and who turn the sound up? Flippin' HATE that.

My new Sony has a volume limiter on it. So those commercials are the same volume as the show you were just watching. What is sad is that they had to put it there in the first place.

I've got the same thing, unfortunately I run the sound through a surround sound amplifier, so the volume limiter doesn't work.
