outerlimits Posted June 15, 2010 Share Posted June 15, 2010 Was in Austin for a visit. Went to a UT to watch a ball game. Before the game they asked all vets to stand up. Class act! Had at least 3 different folks offer to buy me a beer. Been out 36 years and they still were gratious. Gotta love Texas...if it wasn't so hot, I'd move there! Dan Hefta Posted June 15, 2010 Share Posted June 15, 2010 That's really cool, I am good friends with the owners of a Village Inn up here in MN, I was sitting with them like I allways do for breakfast on the weekend, when a table full of service guys show up for breakfast, they were probably National Guard guys.
