outerlimits
per 9.2.2.2, if a competitor reaches the max time, that's the time, and you score any misses or FTE's. the rules do not state a penalty for an overtime shot, like in fixed time courses of fire. everybody agree? ac4wordplay
outerlimits, Did you ever receive a satisfactory answer? 9.4 (scoring and penalty values) seems to be the pertinent section: 9.4.6 details overtime shots "In a Fixed Time Course of Fire". 9.2.2.2 uses the language "Limited Time Comstock". The difference in language seems deliberate ("Fixed Time" is not stated as equivalent to "Limited Time" for the purpose of 9.4.6), and as such 9.4.6 doesn't apply to a Limited Time Comstock CoF. Overtime shots don't appear to be addressed in regards to a Limited Time Comstock CoF. Oversight? Maybe. Without a revision, ruling, or RM instruction, I wouldn't want to impose overtime penalties (the rules don't seem to support it). Please correct me if I'm wrong (with the necessary references) so that I can do it right when I RO you (and your competitors). Best, ac
