rjennings10
I have not had a problem with LSWC 200 gr in my 3 1911's. My father also shoots them in his Glock 36. I've only shot 400 rounds in them all together with no issues. Leading has not been an issue either, about to purchase a lewis lead removal kit for clean-up Anyone used one of these???? Depending on the powder smoke can be an issue, but so far I have had great luck with 700-X and bullseye. One thing I have noticed is; when the round in being chambered the feed ramp is scraping some lead off my bullet, so far this has not effected the accuracy but it has potential too. Jeff Matzka
about to purchase a lewis lead removal kit for clean-up Anyone used one of these???? I bought one last year. Works great. I bought it for my Ruger Vaquero and Blackhawk, but it works just as well on my 1911's. This year I bought the adapter for .38/9mm. Works great in those calibers too. Brownell's has a video on their site on the use of the Lewis Lead remover. A good resource. Bandit
I cast my 230 grain 45's with a 13 BHN lead alloy and 4.9 grains of Bullseye. I find this combination to produce very little smoke and lead fouling.
