foilhat
I will be shooting my first match this Sunday with my stock Kimber Classic Custom. The rule book states the pistol must weigh under 43oz. I added a S&A magwell to the pistol. I do not have a scale and was wondering if this pistol would be under the weight limit. The pistol also has a full length guide rod if that makes any difference. Thanks for any help.
Corey
without a scale, the only way to get a good estimate is to find the stock weight of the from Kimber ( assuming its stock other than the magwell) and then weigh the two MSH seperately on a powder scale or something if it'll go that high and find the difference. I think you ought to be ok with it tho....

G-ManBart
It should be okay if the guide rod isn't tungsten. R,

RussB
A Wilson 8-round mag with the .65 base pad weighs 2.4 oz. That would put my particular Kimber at 42.4 oz

Bshooter
I just came back from the SS Nationals. I also shoot a Kimber. Mine weighed in at 40.5 ounces with a S&A mag well and the mag. I am thinking about adding a tungsten guide rod to mine. Don't know what they weigh but should be about right. Bshooter
