OkieZombies
Are there any pro's or con's to the ambi-mag release in the 21SF? I've noticed it seems to be "sticky" as in it's harder to seat the mags, and it's harder to drop them. Any fixes?
rgkeller
Very poor system. No reason for a right handed shooter to have a glock ambi mag release.
Duane Thomas
It sucks. The "normal" button is extremely hard to depress with the thumb, and you practically have to stand on the offside button.
BDCooper
I'd say it's all what you get used to. I run mine with in L10 and haven't had any issues. I agree that it is harder to depress but I haven't had any issues with mags dropping free and really haven't had to think about it too much unless I switch and run production for a match or two. I can tell the difference at thwat point, but if I'm cosistent with it in dry fire and match use, then it doesn't bother me at all.
Nik Habicht
Running the gun as a right hander, I don't find the release any harder to depress than the regular, short releases on the 9/40 frames. Hitting the right side release with my index finger is likewise easy. Running the gun in my left hand, I'm having some trouble -- but I can't remember the last time I tried to actuate a mag release while a gun was in my left hand -- may it was while shooting an H&K USP about ten years ago....
