DP 1911 Ice MagWell

To all customers that have purchased DP 1911 Ice Magwells: We have improved the design of the Magwell to make it easier to remove the Ice Insert. If you have a problem when sliding the screw driver in the small slot to pop out the Ice Insert give us a call and we'll send you a updated Magwell body with a new Ice Insert at no charge. The Mainspring Housing need not be removed and does not need replaced. You must break away old insert to expose 10-32 screw, remove screw and old Magwell body then install new Magwell body and Ice Insert. Please specify color of Magwell body and standard or No Gap Ice Insert. This rev change does not affect function of Magwell, it just makes it easier to replace the Ice Insert. I want to personally apologize for the inconvenience. Dawson Precision has built its reputation on quality and we fell short on this one, we will however, make it right.
