m&p .40 mag safety

Is there a way to remove the mag safety so you don't have to insert an empty mag to drop the hammer? A friend shoots his M&P in IDPA and it is a pain to clear after the stage. Many RO's have not seen this and have questions.

You don't even need that spring, if you just pop the sear block assembly out (watch the video on Apex Tactical's website) and push the pin for the mag safety/sear deactivation lever out you can remove the mag safety part and reassemble. If you go to fast you'll lose the spring and need the replacement from SSS, it also works without the spring too, you just have to pull the trigger to get the slide off like a Glock or S&W Sigma.

I did buy the spring from SSS because I like using the sear deactivator.
