Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I sent one of mine off today. I registered the second one a week later but haven't got the email on that one yet.
  2. Just got some from CZC today. Thanks all.
  3. A question for those of you that use other than OEM trigger return springs. Do use like CGW or CZ Custom springs? Any difference in the feel or longevity? https://cajungunworks.com/product/rp-trs-reduced-power-trigger-return-spring/ http://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/fire-control/cz-75-trigger-return-spring-trs-new.html
  4. I've owned 16 Glocks and 8 M&Ps. I only shoot M&Ps now.
  5. I want to put black rear sights on several M&P pistols. I don't want to spend a lot of time fitting the sights to the slide. So my question is, which brands require a lot of fitting and which brands are "drop-ins"?
  6. I put the Apex sear and striker block in three guns this weekend. It made a lot of difference and was very easy to install.

  8. 2010 GRGC IDPA Schedule March 27 - pistol + rifle April 24 - pistol + rifle May 22 - pistol + shotgun May 29 - BUG pistol June 26 - pistol + rifle July 24 - Classifier July 31 - pistol + rifle September 25 - night match October 23 - pistol + rifle October 30 - rifle only November 27 - pistol + shotgun
  9. The IDPA division of the Green River Gun Club in Bowling Green KY will be adding more dates and more variety to their 2010 schedule. We will be shooting every fourth and every fifth Saturday (except August) from March until November. Most matches will be five or six pistol stages with either a rifle or shotgun side match. The IDPA classifier will be in July. One month we will have a BUG match. The fourth Saturday of September will be a night match and the fifth Saturday of October will be a rifle match. We will be building a permanent "shoot house" this season. Expect to have a lot of fun when this is completed. Check the website closer to March for complete details: http://www.bggrgc.com/ http://www.idpa.com/

    Goal: 25 Straight

Congratulations! My goal is 100 straight with a pump gun. I've got 100 with an O/U but only 97 with a pump.
  11. I want to thank all you guys and gals that came out for our match. Everybody was safe and helpful. It was a lot of fun. I also want to thank ElZetta for helping us promote the match. Kemp E from Nashville, TN was the lucky winner of the ZFL-M60 3-cell tactical weapon light.
  12. Reminder. The match is this coming Saturday October 24th. Several prizes on the table and only a $15 match fee. Prizes awarded at random. Be sure and get there before 5pm. The Shooters Meeting, IDPA Orientation, and Prize Table will all be before dark. The match will be at the first range you come to going down the hill. Please BACK your car into the parking lot, that way if anyone has to leave early their headlights won't be annoying. In the unlikely event the match has to be canceled due to weather check the website at noon on Saturday. http://www.bggrgc.com/
  13. The stage descriptions/scenarios are now posted on the website: http://www.bggrgc.com/results/IDPA.html
  14. DOH! Oh well, better late than never, I guess. Its OK to shoot if you're not yet classified, isn't it? Yes it is. And since this is a prize match and not a trophy match you still have a chance of winning something. Cool. What's the entry fee? Couldn't find it on the webpage. Also, what kind of round count could one expect? Just curious how much ammo I'll need to search the world over to acquire! I'm glad you asked. The amazing thing about this match is we are giving away a few hundred dollars worth of prizes and the entry fee is only $15. Since this is a night match the round count, target distance, and movement are all smaller. The round count is 50 rounds but keep in mind there are five Vickers stages and one Limited Vickers stage. So I would bring 100 rounds of ammo. The stages should be posted soon on the website but since I am not the webmaster that is something I don't have control over. We will have our new club shirts for sale at this match for $10.
