EGW firing pin stop?

I have fit EGW stop plates to 3 of my 1911's.

The two Kimber 45's use a 14# recoil spring with a 23# mainspring. There is a small (.015") radius on the lower edge of the stops.

My 38 Super runs either an 11 or 12# recoil spring and a 23# mainspring. The plate has a 1/8" radius

I have them in all of my 1911s. In general, the shorter the barrel, the greater the radius. I have 23/14 springing in my 5" and 6" .45s, 23/11 in my (minor) .38 Super, and 25/20 in my 10mm.

I have EGW's FP stop in almost all of my 1911's. As another data point I, I use a 14 lb recoil spring and 17 or 19 lb mainspring in my 40 cal singlestack; that gun has a 10mm barrel fitted as well so there's no additional radius on the stop.
