Wow, my 3.4 load must be a little on the hot side in my Pro. Oh well, feels good, shoots good, I'll roll with it.

So that means you haven't chronographed it? It would seem hard to honestly compare what feels softest if you don't know what the actual velocity was.

Not only have I chronoed it through several guns, I have posted the data on this forum.

The thread you linked to was a 3.5gr load with a 147 LTC, not a 3.4gr load with a 147 moly.

Still, if you've chronographed it, I don't know why you would say "Wow, my 3.4 load must be a little on the hot side in my Pro". If you chrono results with the 3.4 load were similar to the 3.5 load from that post, it's clearly not "a little on the hot side". It's actually a bad idea to try and go much below 135PF. I've described it before, but I've had a load that always runs 173-175PF go 166PF at Nationals. If someone with a 130PF load has something similar happen, they're no longer shooting for score...sub-minor means your'e not even there as far as the match is concerned. R,

I'm new with a M&P 9L. What's everybody like for bullet weight for best accuracy? I'm seeing mostly 124gr. and 147gr. load data... Thanks!

Results seem to be mixed based on individual guns. I've seen folks saying their gun won't keep 147s on a paper plate at 25yds and others get great results. Similarly, some folks say their guns won't keep 124s on a paper plate at 25yds and others get great results. Unfortunately, all you can really do is try some of each. I've had good results with 147s so far, but I've got some 135s on the way to try out. I've also shot a bunch of 115s and 124s, but haven't really shot groups with them (it's on the to-do list). R,
