  1. John, I have to agree with you. I just shot a 100% classifier on 99-52 (Limited) and this is my first 100% classifier. I have other classifiers of 93 and 91% and others with them in the 80's%.This classifier also bumped me into Master Class Limited which I have been working really hard for and busting my hump for. I started shooting 6 years ago and started dry firing a little after that. I would go as far as to say that dry firing is just as important and if not more so for me than the live fire. I took about 6 months off last year because I was getting frustrated and too wrapped into the Master Class thing. Then I stopped and said this is supposed to be fun and not work, I have enough work. I came back and had fun and felt better. I started dry firing again because it was fun and my classifiers have just taken off. Everything Brian has told and taught us is starting to "click" and it is just a learning experience. Kevin
  2. Phil, are you talking about still this year 2001? Some of them have already been shot. I live in Florida and Area 6 was shot in April. Area 4 has also been shot in late May. I think Area 2 was also shot. I remember someone saying something about Area 8 being shot around Aug 25-26. Area 5 is set for July 6-8 (217-394-2282, Russell Cluver). Area 7 is set for Sept 7-9 (508-881-8997, Rob Boudrie). Area 1 is set for July 13-15 (360-629-4417, Joe DeSimone). Area 1 is being shot in Marysville, Washington, Area 5 is being shot in PASA Park, Illinois. Area 7 is being shot in Westhampton Beach, Long Island, New York. Hope this helps, Kevin
  3. Brian, I wanted to share this side note with everyone. I was watching a tape of the 97 Limited Nationals today and watched intently as you and Robbie shot against each other in the shootoffs. I'm sure you remember wearing your hat with "flaps" and the announcer stating you have to wear the flaps down and "snapped under the chin" and used as a retention device. I laughed so hard, my 2 yoa daughter thought something was wrong with me. Kevin
  4. Brian, I also wanted to share some info for a moment. I used to always shoot with a wide stance. I stopped and thought about it for a moment and saw pictures in your book and pictures of Robbie where he was standing with a much more narrow stance. I decided to try it for a couple of weeks and during dry firing. I was amazed at the difference it made for me. I have never felt more comfortable and it has actually decreased my draw times and increased the consistentcy of "perfect" draws and reloads. It makes me feel much more relaxed and comfortable. What is the "unweighing method" of movement? Thanks, Kevin
  5. Eric, you also have to remember that Travis was some kind of All World (not really All World, but pretty darn good) Soccer player with great foot speed and coordination. Gungames did an article on Travis and said something about his outstanding soccer skills and excellent foot speed. Kevin
  6. Thanks Brian, I really appreciate it. I also sent you some personal info on a class. Thanks again, Kevin
  7. Brian, do you know of any way of contacting Rob Leatham? You can email me directly if need be. I am interested in taking a class with him if possible. I know he is an extremely busy man, but would love to have the opportunity to take a course of instruction for him. Any email or phone number or address I could mail him would be great. Thanks Brian Kevin
