  4. what a awesome match, jason really went all out for this one. as always a great match & great people. pat yourself on the back you really deserve it. had to leave a little sooner than i wanted to pancake was getting sicker & wanted to get home. 40 plus round sTAGE.., priceless...... outatanding stages YES.!!! weather permitting, a match in jan. 09?? squibber
  5. looks like a fun match, lots of movin, will help to keep you warm. . we`ll be there early to help with setup & tear down. come early & stay late. falling heads , something different. looking forward to it.
  6. i have a sti trubor in 9 major. the factory told me it comes with a 10# recoil spring & a 15# main spring. adjust your recoil spring according to the loads your using, i would think the factory recoil spring would work fine.
  7. i had a great time, good stages, good people & to top it all off my gun ran great !!! can`t say the gun ran great sunday.
  8. if there is load data for wst in 9mm. 147 gr. plated, jacketed bullet, i can`t find it. anyone got any load data. ? thanks
  9. i have several sti limited & steel guns in 9 & 40, no major problems with them yes, they have good guns & i will continue to buy them. gentleman jim, , when i get mine back i`ll let you know what was done to it, maybe it wiil help
  10. i also have a 9 maj. trubor, got it new in aug. last year. i have had the same problems as gentleman jim plus lots more. i`ve had not only stove pipes up,but out the side, the spent brass has turned around 180 degrees & stuck in the slide, brass always hits the dot bracket as well as the bottom of the dot itself. constantly jamming, i`ve even had the complete cartridge turn around 180 degrees after the brass was ejected, { when it did eject } . you could not shoot a full mag without some kind of jam. i could go on & on with the problems, & yes i tried different wght. recoil springs from 7# on up made no difference, tried different bullets & seating dephts no difference. sti sent me tuned ejector & xtractor made no difference. so, sti wanted it back, sent it back on 1/8/07 it`s still there & not fixed yet. you know you pay that much money for a gun, wouldn`t think it sould run.. still no word on when i`ll get it back
  11. thankyou for the info. i`ll try 1oo nxt time i reload & see how they compare.
  12. My set-up: 9mm Open, STI Frame/ STI Trubor S2(one-piece)barrel&comp Load: Vit N350, 7.5 gr Zero 125 gr JHP 1.155" OAL Federal 200 Sml Rifle Mag primer Remington brass / Magtech head stamp (once fired) PF runs around 169ish Check out the thread on 9mm major. Tons of load data to sift through. Good luck and be safe! thanks to all. my question now is why small mag, or small rifle primers. ??? i`m using winch. small pistol primers, why would i want to change, advantages.. disadvantages ?? i`m not sure what to look for in fired brass, but i don`t notice anything that alarms me.... thanks
