  1. Sue, What program did you do that in? Did you draw the 1911 from scratch? That is awesome stuff. PHolsted, I took my husband's single stack out of the safe, grabbed a piece of plain white paper, a pencil and a ruler and laid it out. Then I took that pencil sketch and used it to draw it in Illustrator. Glad you like it. Sue

  3. I wish their web site was available at this time. The new material is a very light gray. I think the NROI shirts are made on it if you've seen one of those. The old web site showed which designs they had on hand to use; quite a few as I recall. The polo shirt style is common; you may have seen these before. Best beat is to call or email them for specific answers until the new web site is up. You can check out their threads under "Dealer Forum" on Enos. Some of the threads show pics of their shirts. -Sue
  4. Thanks for all your suggestions on my other thread. We decided on the final artwork below to keep from getting too busy and to make it usable for revo shooters from all groups if they'd like. I just sent the artwork file to TechWear. They are offering special pricing on these Wheel Gunner shirts. For $55 you can get the classic polo style collared shirt with your name and the logo on the front and back. The price also includes a design on one sleeve if you'd like. For $35, you can get it made up in the T-shirt style. These will be made out of their new material which I believe will not snag if velcro is in contact with it. They clean very easily (even in a hotel room) and dry quickly for those concerned about a match lasting more than one day. Also the colors will not fade over time. They are currently working on a new web site. You can contact Joe 516-322-0371 or info@techwearusa.com Thanks again and safe shooting, Sue wheelgunners_logo_final.pdf

  6. Zhunter said: "Please read Post #41" Hi Z, I snuck hubby's single stack out of the safe. Are you thinking side view or straight on? It'll take me a few days or so. I'll have to sketch it up first. -Sue
  7. This is my first attempt at using Illustrator.
  8. Hubby likes your suggestion. wheelgunners_logo_angled_text.pdf Brit, if you would, please submit a jpg for the others. Thanks - Sue
  9. Took the "USPSA" off so others can use it too. Also added bullets and changed the font to a more common and "manly" one. Sorry, still a pdf - can't get the jpg to upload right. wheelgunners_logo_with_bullets.pdf -Sue

  11. Thanks for noticing. I forgot to lock that layer and my mousepad is pretty sensitive. Here's a corrected pdf. I'll be getting a price quote from Techwear on making up the shirts with the shooter's name and I'll pass that info on when I get it. You'll get the price for the t-shirt style and their classic collared shirt style with the logo on back and a smaller version on the front. After I get the final version to them, I'll let you know. Nice tattoo Sensei. -Sue uspsa_wheelgunners_logo_colored_text_2.pdf
  12. Thanks for the suggestions. When I was sketching, my thought was that most revo logos I've seen were moonclips or cylinders and so I drew up the whole gun looking down the barrel. I wanted something different. Now that I've played with it some more, I'm kinda liking this version the best. This is my first attempt at using Illustrator, so it's been a learning experience. - Sue uspsa_wheelgunners_logo_colored_text.pdf
  13. Hi Fellow Wheelgunners. I made up this logo design thinking maybe we could have shirts made up. What do you think? Sue uspsa_wheelgunners_logo_2.pdf
  14. So true. You haven't run a sandy stage unless you've tried Antrim.
  15. Meeting and squadding with a bunch of wheelie crazies was a great way to spend the day. They were a great group and for the most part, harmless. Steve, Sue and Sarah
  16. Thanks for all the hard work that goes into putting on a major match. Great job everyone!! We had a good time, as always. See you again next year. Steve, Sue and Sarah
  17. Looks like we can check the loaded gauged moonclips off the "to do" list for next weekend's match Empty pretzel containers are great for sorted brass and loaded moonclips! See ya there
  18. John, you should bring your revo stuff along as well. Didn't Sako switch at the last minute last year? -Sue
  19. OK, call me crazy. I switched from Open to Revo today on the encouragement of my hubby. That'll make 6 revos on our squad out of 8 revos total so far. Is anyone else coming? It'll be fun no matter what. -Sue
  20. Hey, where'd that rock go? lol Nice job on the retouch - do you think you can space out her mags and angle 'em like Flex suggests?
  21. Sarah doesn't recall being hit or the gun being hit by the rock. We just noticed the rock today. The pic is from the club's website Chain of Lakes Sportsman's Club/Antrim Sand Pit Shooters. It was their July match.
