Anyone know if this is happening this Sunday? Tried the email contact already and no reply,, I'll be visiting Pops in Summerlin and thought I may try it.......

I picked one up a few weeks ago on gunbroker for just over 1000 shipped. It has the vent rib and small fiber optic front sight. I ran 150 rounds through it yesterday. It was perfect. I am still kicking myself for not buying one of these sooner. These shotguns rock!Anyone have a picture of the Benelli M2 field with the 21 inch barrel? I was wondering if the shorter barrel had a rib on it.
I would have bought one today if Sportsman's Warehouse had a 21"
Yep.Just got my own 21 in off Gunbroker for $950.
Been looking for about 6 months!

Arredondo Accessories. The Benneli one works. Have one on my new extrema 2
You"re running an Extrema 2 Chris? Who mods these things around Socal? I have a Benelli M2 I'd like smoothed over....

Botach ? Do a search. Wait, I'll save you the trouble. Very hit or miss.
They have some smokin' deals but if it doesn't show up or takes 6-8 weeks, was it really a deal. YMMV.
Got my UPS Track arriving tomorrow! YMMV
Did you get them?
yup!

I asked Patrick Flanigan(sp?) himself this question at the SHOT Show..he said no...I was asking about SX3 though....asked him to try it in 3gun!

I use the Arredondo. I took a file to the back corners, but it was easy to make work.
hope this is okay,, This is a really good deal on the Arredondos plus 10% off, although ity is Botach...

I dunno if this is a good deal or what?

I see adjustable gas tubes at Brownell and wondering why more people don't use them?
-
So, do they just chop and recrown a 20" barrel to 18" or 16"?
Thats about it.----------Larry
Hmm,me thinks I want adjustable gas for my 18 inch MIDLENGTH gas gun..

This question is limited to this narrow scope: I shoot pistol (fairly new to it) in IDPA and USPSA. One of the clubs I shoot at occasionally has matches were you can shoot Pistol or Rifle across the same stages. I have an AR15 that I built up, but it was really built by me as a longer range (out to 400m): 4-16x scope with short eye relief, 20" Stainless Bull Barrel, High cheakpiece stock, and heavy aluminum floating forearm. Not the sort of gun that would really work for these club matches.
I have an AR lower, stock, grip, etc, and only need an upper to complete another gun.
I currently reload 9mm and 40S&W. I don't reload rifle cartridges, and frankly don't get to a range that I can shoot rifle at much.
My question: Comments about 9mm ARs? Going 9mm would allow me to reload for the rifle, and also be able to shoot at it at the indoor range I practice at. I always intended this lower for a carbine/room sweeper. The club matches, since also pistol, only go out to about 40 yards. I am told that 9mm carbines will work out to 100m.
I do not now intend to compete in 3-gun, and if I ever did, would either build or rebuild for those requirements (I am soaking enough money in Pistol as it is.
Just looking for comments as to the ups and downs of a 9mm AR?
Thanks in Advance
Mark K
So did you take the plunge??

Stay away from Battery Station 123 Lithium cells. They last about 10% as long as a Surefire battery. It seems that they even run down when not in use. I may soon try the UltraLast in the link above. Thanks.
good info here I was just looking for this.

I recently moved to the area and have been asking around for the same info. Talked with one of the guys last night and here's what I found out:
Sin City Shooters will have USPSA Pistol matches on 1st and 2nd Sundays starting in Feb. 3Gun will be 4th Sundays.
Some of the guys are shooting a regular pistol match at Lake Havasu on 3rd Saturdays with 3Gun on the following Sunday. The Area 2 website has a link for the Lake Havasu club.
See ya at the range!
This is good to know as my Pop just moved to Summerlin.. can't wait till that huge Clark County Range opens up.
Do you have to be a Desert Sprtsman member to participate in the matches?

I have no patience for guns that are not reliable and accurate. If I think that my equipment has a reliability issue, it does not go to matches until it is fixed. That being said, I carry a little kit with gas rings, extractors, and a full set of springs and pins.
One of the big reasons to clean your guns everytime out is to catch stuff that is cracked or is becoming worn, and replace it then. That tends to take care of the stuff that does wear. I have heard of people commenting that the gas tube takes so long to replace that you might as well have two uppers. Thing is though, that a well aligned gas tube lasts as long as the barrel, and you should catch it going bad at home too.

What are the hints a gas tube is going bad? Worn tip?

Here is my 9x19 AR-15.
Timers have a hard time picking up the shots so I load the bottom quarter of the mag with 124s instead of 147s.
Its a Shark SBR lower, RR 6 inch upper and mag block, C-Products mags, LaRue 10 inch rail and AAC Evolution can. Runs great, its really fun to shoot, and the Mall Ninja and CDI Factor is high.
I did forget to check the inner diameter of the handguard against the OD of the suppressor though. It took some time to get decent clearance.
I vote Colt style! With Hahn dedicated block and Cproducts mags... Love mine. fun to shoot and esier to build since no gas tube!

Anybody running one of these? I'm looking at one of the shorter models with a long handguard. How do you like it? It's made by Larue so I'm assuming it's top notch like everything else that they do.
