I have seen these at Level 1 matches but these matches don't have legal shooting area boundaries or dedicated ROs either so..I do wish the plates actually stayed on when 1 was shot.

nobody wants to copy my plans unless its their 1st match and they don't know any better. I have seen some new guys led astray by last minute advice and they just get information overload and self-destruct.. But that teaches them something valuable also

I have the Armalite clamp front shimmed with aluminum tape on a stepped down barrel, you can do this(beer can)? Or some guys remove material from the clamp area so it will squeeze down to .625 or so..
Interesting I am going to the Knights Micro Rear also , should work fine the military uses these on the 7.62 M110. And the Micro base does look small and I worried about it when clamping but it is steel instead of alumin like the Reg Knights rear. I guess we'll see but I like it so far.
Prob no range test till Jan...

Remington Ammo is known to be weak and will short stroke in most but the advice above is right on of course

Okay has anybody tried one of these yet? My first impressions are that its too good to be true.
Reticle reminds me of the GRSC.
Folding cattail? Stuff on my rifle that folds is usually down when I need it.
But if the illum is daytime visible and it reverts to a Black reticle it might work??
I dont like non capped turrets that don't lock this might be a dealbreaker??
Anybody have a review??

I just used a standard Colt Gov. Profile A2 barrel 1/7 twist and shaved the front sight into a minimized lopro block. Then mounted an Armalite front like this http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=EU0240MPKIT
right behind the comp like TMC. Pretty cheap it was $40 and a beercan shim. So far so good I am gonna chop the carry handle and try Limited shortcourses..

Has Anybody tried the Blackhole Weaponry Polygonal? These seem to be a Northwest regional favorite.
They have one listed at a Webshop as 18 inch ,Rifle Gas..
416R stainless with 3 groove Polygonal rifling and Blackened exterior..
Weighing 2.2 lbs..for about $220 ?

The DD is a great product if you want to play with AR stocks and still fold. I decided to just buy the original Sig550 type solid folder from Sig Sauer they will sell you one for $160., mine showed up yesterday and is real deal swiss and solid

Will one of these fit under a Troy TRX Extreme 13.8 in a rifle length gas AR10 type? Looks like the top channel might be close?

New springs all around and a new gas tube maybe? Sometimes if slight misalignment the ball tip gets worn?

My 9mm AR is the same it likes long loads/bullets.. Short profiles don't feed well and yes it is very violent blowback action with massive weight reciprocating so it is either super reliable or smashes the hell out of a misfeed

No slug sights? Does Accurate Iron bend the barrels to POA? asking because my Benelli shoots way left and 6 inches high at 25 yards, gonna try tuning the barrel clamp some more but no results yet

My Megas have been the largestand GTG. If you want it a little bigger get out a fine file... I had to do that on a couple Lauers to get the Pmags to drop free

Strike Industries would be my last choice for a comp for our sport. Try something like Carver or Lone Wolf 1st on a threaded barrel. Strike is known for bad metallurgy on their AR parts and many gimmicky parts
