I have been happy with the Spikes Glock cut and a PSA Colt style, but if I were you I'd buy the GMR15 stripped lower.

Fm products barrels have a deep throat and they make a 8.5”
2nd, great throat and quality on the one I shot today

Yep and a case head separation will destroy an expensive Hahn conversion block, warped the heck outta the thin walls!
-
I got chugchug slow cycle with some bad mags and Flatpoints also, then a casehead separation..
ETA: I use RN only now and tested mags, and I cant outrun it yet!

I have found data all over the place, including Hornady data going up to 5.4 grains. I guess the current WST lots, barrels and chambers make a big difference as the more current data seems much lower.

Hello: I would agree about the lighter powder charge so that is why I like the 16" barrels. My load for 124's is only 3.1 grains of Tite Group and is 131PF. Thanks, Eric
Thank you for this..I plan on trying Titegroup as I just started loading my own 9mm..
I saw an older post that you used to load WST in your 9mm AR, and I have a ton of it.
I am starting testing at 4.1 Gr with 124 Xtreme plated at 1.145 oal. Any tips on what worked for you?

wow my Hahn was nice, but a case separation destroyed it.(thin sidewalls). Since you want LRBHO.. Instead of a cheaper block, I'd honestly recommend a Blem dedicated lower. My PSA was $109..
-
I had a Hahn "dedicated top loader" that required the bolt catch be removed for install and reinstalled after.. It could be rested on the mag and never had a jam related to that.
-
well I have to replace my old SDB measure that had the springs, not happy to see they 'improved " it with these parts. Guess I better study the above

ya'll could try an ASC or Cproducts plastic follower, ASC sold me some separately a while back. Bright orange plastic and slightly smaller than the Metalform steel ones.
-
Yes and No, if it's the old Oly 9 it had the ejector pinned in the upper methinks, which would be the prob, and usually used Sten mags although Colt style could be made to work.
I had a Hahn top loader for 9 years or so until a case head separation blew the thin walls apart and totally distorted the body. Hahn graciously offered to give me half the purchase price toward a new unit. I got a Blem forged lower for $99 instead

I have an Adco ramped old style RRA bolt with about 3000 rounds thru and no breaks, but it does look beat up. I have a standard FCG, standard hammer with JP Hammer spring. A spare FP is on order JIC

Just for a point of reference, I have a newer GMR-13 (bolt is 1pc with no removable weight) and it weighs 13.5oz.
My Blitzkrieg buffer weighs 6oz, for a 19.5oz combo.
Weight your bolt both ways and see where you are.
Ok I finally weighed all components:
RRA ramped Bolt with wt&pin removed-12.16 oz
Weight & Pin -3.52 oz
Blitz Buffer- 6.08 oz
Buffer and Bolt with Weight removed -18.24
All 3 with Weight -21.76 oz
These are exact weights on Scale certified for trade by the State

Hello: What color is the follower? The problem you may have is the base of the follower is hitting the Taylor Freelance base pad lip. You may have file the base pad so the follower goes into the base pad. Thanks, Eric
If these are Colt/Metalform they will be stamped and welded Steel , the crappy ASC/Cprod are plastic but can be made to work also
ETA: NVM I thought this was a coupler

I went to a 32/10 instead of 32/32. Less unwieldy and gets me 42 reloadable. Is that what you're doing here? I had to flip springs so they wouldn't slip past and jam "sandwiched lockplate thing", and it still took 3 assembly trial and errors.. But reliable now

Yes dedicated Colt style..its a PSA not made anymore. Spikes is almost the same and QC10 are similar
Spikes had theirs for $169 last I checked

Just testfired with Fed 115 grain C.O.P.S. which looks like Am Eagle but in a Blue Box. No failures in 200 rounds, and gun feels slightly softer with Blitzkrieg buffer and weight out. I forgot to bring the weight to try. I'm thinking weight in with Fact Ammo and weight out with lighter handloads,. Seems plenty accurate offhand at 25 yards. And no bulged or split cases with the Blitz buffer, weight out and Wolff XP Carbine spring.
feels harsh to me but less harsh than before..

#1, I have had rifles that Ring or Sing, when they are all metal with no plastic or wood on the handguard and free floated
-
I removed the BCG weight and the BUIS, now with optic but no mag it weighs right at 6.5, feels a little better .
ETA: gonna weigh the train when the new lighter buffer comes in I will start testing. I will be putting a C-more on ASAP also., if it's reliable.

sounds good, I have had this for a long time it was initially a Hahn blocked lower. But a case head separation destroyed that block. This lower is beefy I can't hurt it like that thin walled Hahn.. I think
ETA: Thanks for the informative replies BBB and L9x25!

I have a 7 lb Colt style PCC that runs very well with no parts breakage thru 2K rounds..but a lot of recoil with a Slash9 style solid stainless steel buffer.
I have the Blitzkrieg Hydraulic buffer and JP Spring on order. It has an old school RRA bolt that was ramped years ago.
Is it a good idea to try it with the Carrier weight removed in addition?
Is there a standard goal for complete bolt weight?
