Ordered my TS 9mm barrel, mags, & adj-rear sight last night.
-
From my installation observation: heavy barrel measures 0.550", measure outside diameter of your barrel to be sure. You will need to remove barrel during the bushing installation process.
-
I saved both OE bushings and can reinstall if/when needed. So far I'm pretty impressed with the shrinking of my group shots.
-
I shot my initial comparisons off bag at 25yds, so to be consistent will do with same ammo/distance this weekend. Don't have a Ransom rest, poor shot with most any angle so I will notice an improvement. If interested I'll post targets when completed.
-
Finally has some time away from work to install mine last night. Can't wait until weekend to perform my comparison tests.

I''m gong to purchase a 9mmTS barrel & mag for my TS40 and understand the fitting procedure. One question I have is my buddies 9MmTS had a recoil guide sleeve insert - is it required as well?
-
OK, Got home from road trip today and bushing were here. I've attached some basic shots. Note: TS bushing on left and Shadow bushing on right. Can't wait to do my before and after tests. Regards, Rinoray53

If anyone's interested; I ordered both and can provide a photo side by side comparison once they arrive next week.

Smitty79, Did you have to make any mods to your CZ TS 40 pistol other than the barrel & fit? For example - separate 9mm mags, springs sets, etc... Thanks

Thanks been several years since I've loaded any pistol rounds - Long range rifle guy. Taper it is!

Do you roll or taper crimp?

Grip question - thumb on non-dominant hand
sray53txtn replied to MilkMyDuds's topic in Handgun Techniques
My "big" mistake from both videos was my off/support hand index finger location. I was placing it at the front of the trigger guard and it was the reason I was pulling the pistol left and low. Tried the new position and an immediate improvement. Thanks for great advice! -

Grip question - thumb on non-dominant hand

I'm new to the thumb position and was wondering if there's a good site with photos of the different left thumb positions. I seem to have a problem with my position consistency. -
I took some stock 75 rubber grips and trimmed them to fit and it fits like a glove - big hands. Wow, these are such nice shooting pistols.

Thanks for advice - "fantastic" pistol!

Holster & mag holder recommendations for CZ 75 Accu Shadow lite

I'll check out your site. Thank you! -
Looking for opinions on a good entry level belt, holster, & mag holder setup for a CZ 75 Accu Shadow lite I want to use in USPSA local club matches. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Excellent points. 9 on the left has a few mods - mag well, trigger, firing pin, front sights, 4 factory mags, & nice grips (7K+ rounds) 40 on right basically new 4 factory mags, fiber optic front sight, & stainless guide rod ( 100+ rounds) I have components, and equipment to reload for both calibers Get both and learn the various aspects of 40 major in limited & 9 in open as I develop my skills ?

If you had an opportunity to purchase a CZ Tac Sport in 9mm or 40S&W which would you choose? Or if you could actually get both in a good package price would that be a decent option? USPSA application - Yes I reentering the fun. Opinions appreciated.

I certainly have a lot more popping/snapping noise from joints than I did a couple decades ago, and after watching the 20-30 group, know this is just for fun. MY buddy says I need a 9mm cause he needs to sell his Glock 34, and old farts need less recoil - of course with a rifle I can humble him a little

Shot in some matches a few years ago and want to come back to compete in a few matches. 60 is not probably the best age to get started again. Nashville area.
